WHIP IT!

Oh how I love sitting my ass down with my snuggie and watching a good movie.
Yesterday or was it the day before? I've been sickie so I don't remember LOL. Anywho, I watched Whip It the other day and It was a great chick flick. I love their tag line "Be your own Hero". It was very cute and I think for Drew Barrymores directorial debut it was pretty good and lots of fun :)

Plus who doesn't love Ellen Page? Seriously she is so funny.
I say if you want a quiet evening with a feel good/funny movie, then watch this.

When someone amazing hurts

If you have never read Kandee's blog, you should! Trust me she will make you smile every day. She has been going through some trouble lately and she posted this video last night. It made me cry :( But I just wanted to post it for everyone to see.

You can follow Kandee here. I encourage you too.

At times we all feel alone. You don't have to have hundreds of friends to feel loved. All you need is one friend to show you love and make you feel special. Always remember that. I am so grateful to have a hand full of friends that make me feel loved. I can call whenever I need to vent, cry or hell even gossip. Just remember to show your friends that you care. Show them you are there for them even when they want to be alone.
Love to Everyone <3

Let them eat cake....

Although it is said that Marie Antoinette never said "Let them eat cake" I like it and shall use it for this blog.

I woke up this morning with Marie Antoinette on the brain. Why? I'm not sure. If you don't know the history of M.A. here is a VERY VERY short Bio.
Marie Antoinette Josèphe Jeanne de Habsbourg-Lorraine was born Nov 2 1755 in Vienna Austria.
She was daughter to Francis I, Holy Roman Emperor, and Maria Theresa, Queen of Hungary and Bohemia and ruler of the Habsburg dominions.

In 1770, at age 15, she married 16-year-old Louis XVI of France. 1775 20 yr old Louis-Auguste is crowned King Louis XVI. 1778 They welcome their first child, Marie Therese Charlotte. She later goes on to have 3 more children one of which dies before her 1st birthday.
1793 October 16: Marie Antoinette is executed by guillotine.
If you wondering what the heck happend? Why was she executed? Then go here to read more about M.A. http://www.pbs.org/marieantoinette/index.html

The history behind Marie Antoinette is interesting and sad. You should definitely pick up a book and read up on it or click that link above for more info on her life and death.

I think Marie Antoinette and it makes me think about lush colors. Thanks mostly to the movie "Marie Antoinette" starring Kirsten Dunst.
That movie is like a big cupcake waiting to be devoured. The colors are amazing and Kirsten Dunst looks beautiful.

So I did some digging and found some amazing products that remind me of her.
First are these shoes from

Christian Louboutin Marie Antoinette Collection

Although there were only 36 of these shoes made I figured they were worth looking at :) They had them in blue and pink also.

Vampire Lover

When I was little I wanted to be a Vampire. I always thought it was a pretty good goal since it meant I would live forever. Plus I always thought they were damn sexy! What do you expect when a 14 yr old watches Interview with The Vampire. Brad Pitt as a vampire? HELLO SEXY!

Of course there were tons of other Vampire movies from the 80's and 90's the sexy, the cheese, the scary, the funny. All of which I would watch over and over again.
Then you have today. Vampire craze is everywhere.

I will admit I am a Twilight fan. I love the BOOKS. I don't know, I think I like the different spin on the vampire in SM's books. It was different and well kind of fun. Then you have t.v. series like True Blood, The Vampire Diaries (which is based off of L.J. Smiths Books titled the same. The series was originally a trilogy published in 1991) Also a slew of new movies.
But no matter how many vampire themed movies or t.v. series come out the best will always be Buffy The Vampire Slayer. It was funny, dramatic, cheesy and everything in between.

"The Body" is probably the best episode of Buffy.

So whats the reason for all the vampire talk?
I found some of the best Vampire themed jewelry on Etsy.com

Check it out.
So pay attention <-------- for the hubby.
These would be wonderful vday or bday gifts :)
